Gallery open again on weekends, lots of visitors enjoying my artwork and music.

Still work to do with renovations after a 14 months dealing with personal injury, however the doors are open and its starting to happen. Painting and making artwork again has been a real buzz and will now target a date and have an exhibition along with an album launch. Date to be announced stay tuned.

Gday!

The time is now.

Hi, welcome to my first post.  At last my art and music is together in a one stop location.  Please bear with us as we create much more at darrenmccrae.com.  It is my intention to shortly update the history and past events, create a walk through gallery for viewers and investors, a location for emails, a newsletter, a shopping cart for music and merchandise and various other exiting and inventive concepts.

The Real Deal

In reference to my original artwork, I have only concentrated on commission work over the last 18 month period as the McCrae Gallery has been under renovation, this has been a slow drawn out process due to personal injuries,however the Gallery is due to be open again by September 2011.

We celebrate some long awaited success for my music as singer/songwriter, with 2 contracts signed and  published in the U.SA .  With luck, I will release an album before Christmas 2011.  At this stage my music is still an independent  label in Australia.

My latest project and immediate attention is with the REAL DEAL team for Daniel “THE REAL DEAL” Geale  Australian world title boxing holder, due to defend his title in Tasmania, 31st August 2011.  A limited edition CD with certificate of authenticity will be available at promotions leading up to fight night, then its back to the recording studio to produce some new songs, WORLD TITLE and FIGHT LIKE HELL, to embrace THE REAL DEAL and other Darren McCrae songs for a CD, to be made available at Daniel Geales website.

Look out for The Real Deal on FOX, main/event promos, FM Tasmania and American radio stations.

I will be in Tasmania from 29th August for Promotions.
